Today

Abbie was a trooper today... her O2 stats are under control, her respiratory rate is still a little high as is her heart rate but she is dehydrated so we feel that is why. Around 3pm today she had an IV placed to help with her hydration... she has not had any want or desire to eat or drink anything; she will ask for anything under the moon (strawberries and cream, lemonade, and Popsicle) but she will not drink any of it (it seems like a test to see if we will get it for her and of course we will!). When she returned from her IV placement the nurse was smiling and so was Abbie. Abbie stated "I got a hurt" and pointed to her IV. The nurse stated that she was the best kid they have had in a while... she did not cry and she thanked the technician after it was all over "thank you Thank you". She is resting well now and seems to be on the mend. Thank you for all of your love and support! We will keep you updated! Love to all!
