Crawling...

Abbie's motor skills have flurished since we moved into our new home... she has so much space to move around now and she takes full advantage of it. I find myself spending most of my day chasing Abbie around and using the word NO a lot... and so it begins. I took videos of Abbie crawling and playing for those of you who might miss the fun stage... I am wondering when she will find the stairs??? I sure it will not be very long! Abbie got her first tooth on my birthday... what a great gift!
Abbie has also started to clap her hands and say YAY!!! It is very cute and we love that she is starting to interact with us a little bit more!

And she's off...

Abbie is now a mobile little child... she is scooting herself to wherever her little heart desires! It is quite a site to watch... she lays on her belly comes up to her hands and knees and then lurches forward falling back to her belly and starting the process all over. Abbie started this a few days ago and she has become quite efficient at it already.

Abbie has hit a lot of new milestones lately. She waves and says “ha” every time Kevin and I walk into a room or anytime she sees someone new... it is very cute! She also has taught herself to come up to sitting from her belly all by herself. "Normal" childhood development is such a wonder to watch... I love being a mom! Tonight I walked into Abbie's room to check on her and much to my surprise she was sitting up in her pack-and-play rocking it back and forth and trying her hardest to pull herself to standing. I have a feeling her is going to be a little dare devil!

Here are a few pictures of Abbie during our stay here at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn... everyone here has fallen in love with Abbie and keep telling Kevin, while he is at work, that he has the cutest little girl! While it has been great to live in a hotel and not really have a care in the world... we cannot wait to move in to our new townhouse tomorrow!!!! YAY!

We cheered on the Buckeyes... and Abbie wore her uniform all day long!!!

Abbie loved the wall of windows in our hotel room! She would scoot herself over to the window to play with they "other" baby!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The Crabtree family had a fabulous Christmas season! We loved spending time with both sets of Abbie's grandparents. Abbie's first Christmas was full of joy, love, and happiness and we could not have asked for anything more. Abbie had fun "opening" her Christmas gifts... she preferred to eat the wrapping paper but loved the toys she received as well! We hope and pray that everyone had a joyous season! Here are a few pictures of us celebrating.
