We the Crabtree family who only knows girls are very happy and proud to announce that we have a new bundle of blue at our house!!!! His name is Gordon Joseph Crabtree! Ok so he is not so new now but life has happened and I am finally getting to announce him to our blogging world. Gordon fondly called "Gordie" entered our world on November 24, 2010 weighing in at 7#11oz and he was 20 inches long.
In the operating room Kevin and I waited excitedly to hear what gender this baby was... Kevin said that we were having another girl and I thought we were having and boy (I never shared this with Kevin). When the doctor announced its a..... BOY. Kevin immediately pumped his fist and said yes it was so cute to see how excited to have a baby boy to share all of his knowledge with. I cannot wait to see them playing baseball, and Mr. Fix-it together and attending Boy Scout meetings. I have entered a world of blue and I think I am going to LOVE IT! The girls were so excited to meet their new brother they proudly wore their Big Sister shirts and climbed up into mommy's recovery bed and she had the whole gang... it was perfect! We had wonderful nurse who allowed the Big Sisters to assist with Gordie's first bath... they were so proud of themselves and it brought tears to their overly emotional mother's eyes! I cannot believe how blessed I am to have such wonderful children and a loving husband.
