Abbie has started to talk a lot lately... I thought it would be forever before she would say the word mama but that seems to be all she says now! When she wakes up from her nap she quietly says mama, 3 sec later a little louder mama, and yet another 3 sec yelling at the top for her lungs MA! At first it was very cute and now I just feel bad that I cannot get to her quick enough. Abbie has also started to say dada, moo (for a cow sound of course), all done, nana, doggies, Abbie and thank you very consistently. When asked... where is your belly? Abbie picks up her shirt and pats her belly. She can also show us her ears and feet! I love that she is becoming more vocal; it is quite fun!
She has also become a very busy bee... it runs (not walks) but runs from point A to B all of the time! We can tell it is close to nap time or bed time when she starts to slow down! She is also trying very hard to jump; she bends her knees and pushes up as far as she can (ending up on her tip tip tippy toes) and will land giggling... which I love to watch this "normal development" happen without any help from me! Abbie has found a hiding spot in our dinning room between a wall and hutch where she will sneak off to play with a pen (which she should not have) or eat a snack that I have given her. She is quite a sneaky little girl.
We are trying to explain to Abbie about the new baby... we know she is too young but we still want her to love this new little one! We found a baby doll named Abby that she carries around everywhere and sleeps with now! At daycare she loves to push the baby around in play stroller; it is very cute. If she is not carrying the baby it is typically not far from her... if you ask where it is she will pick it up and give it a big squeeze!
This past weekend we went to visit Nana and Papa's in Ohio for a long weekend and we had a great time! We watch the Buckeyes WIN with Grand-Nana and Grand-Papa and G-Nana gave allowed Abbie to take a ride in her wheelchair and on her lap... the Absters loved it! On Sunday we went to the park to feed the ducks and Abbie decided it was better to feed herself and not the ducks (luckily it was not stale bread). We played on the new playground equipment and Abbie had a blast and did not want leave... tears were falling down her cheeks as she waved and said bye-bye! The best thing that came from the trip was that we found Abbie LOVES swings YAY!!! Finally!
We continue to be blessed thank you all for your love and support! Here are a few updated pictures of the Absters!

This is what happens when daddy lets me eat spaghetti off his plate… we both get very messy!!!
