Our Last Weekend as a Family of Four!

It is hard to believe that we are having our third child on Wednesday. We have had a very blessed almost 5 years. My doctor placed me on early maternity leave this past Wednesday seeing that my blood pressure was high for me and I was extremely uncomfortable and swollen. I think that was my body's way of telling me enough was enough; NDT was finally over and my body gave up! Seeing as I have had more frequent doctor appointments the girls continue to ask mommy "is the baby born?" I say no it is still in my belly... Abbie is the most excited!
Friday was the first day that the girls stayed home with me and we really just relaxed all day and played together in the basement... it was fun to play princesses, have the girls "cook" me breakfast, lunch, and dinner in their kitchen and just hang out as the girls! Saturday Kevin had to work in the morning and Cari and Brian invited the girls to play at their house so that I could rest... but as all of you know I don't rest well so the girls and I ended up hanging out there all day and Kevin met us there after work to watch the Buckeye game that seriously could have put me into labor. Oh did I mention that the girls wore their Ohio State cheerleading uniforms to the Socia's- Brian was none too happy! We are happy they pulled it out in the end. Sunday Mary Grace peeped on the potty which she asked to do... not that we are pushing the potty training now but if she wants to we will sit with her there! Abbie was not feeling all that great she had a bad cough and some labored breathing so I kept her home and continued breathing treatments and by the evening she was a different kid.... have I said lately how much I despise asthma I feel so bad for my little girl!
All and all it was a wonderful last weekend!  Here are some pictures that I took this past weekend!

Abbie's Dance Recital

Abbie had a dance recital tonight in her Fairy Tale Ballet class... which she totally loves. She wakes up on any given day and asks if she is going to dance class today and is sad if is it not Monday. I took some photos of her before and after and videos during the class! I hope you all enjoy as much I we did... I giggle the entire time because the 3 year olds are so stinking cute!

New Haircut!

Fall in for the Crabtrees!

The girls decided to be Ladybugs for Halloween and they had a blast Trick-or-Treating with the Socia family! They were the perfect hosts for our second annual Chili cook-off! It was mighty chilly on Halloween and we made it about 30 houses before all of the girls were ready to return home and check out their loot! We love having good friends to celebrate the holidays with! Thanks Cari and Brain for having the Crazy Crabbies over!

Changes for the Crabtrees

There are have been many changes in the Crabtree household since my last post. Unfortunately our nanny quite the Tuesday after my last post; Margot had been with us for the last 15 months and was wonderful with our children. We miss her greatly but the girls seem happy where they are. We have currently placed them in a Tutor Time Daycare next to my work until I go on maternity leave with baby Crabtree number 3; November 24th, 2010!
Abbie and MaryGrace are so excited about our new addition to our family! They both kiss the "baby" my belly goodnight before bed every night and Abbie states that the baby's name is Aubry... which is correct if we have another girl but the name will be Gordon if we have a boy! We cannot wait to know!
The changes to our house have been exciting but stressful... all we can do is thank all of our family and friends for their love and support duing this time!

Baby Crabtree Watch 2010

12 weeks23 weeks
People have been asking about the Crabtree baby watch 2010 and I have not posted pictures yet of my ever growing belly! I am now 25 weeks and LOVE being preggers! The baby is moving a ton and I have been waking up with heartburn but I know it is all worth it to have just one more Crabtree to our family! Abbie is very into the pregnancy she announces she wants a baby brother but wants to name him Aubry?!? It is so funny! Other funny things that Abbie has said during this pregnancy are… “Woooowah Mama that baby is grown!” and “Wooowah Mama what was that?” after seeing my belly move when the baby flipped. Bother girls love to lift my shirt to give the “baby” my belly a kiss… I love seeing them so excited! Kevin and I cannot wait for November it is so exciting for us to expand our family!

Crabtree Summer 2010

It has been entirely too long since I last posted but I have to say that we have has the BEST summer ever and an extremely busy one at that! We started Memorial Day weekend with visiting a local lake to feed the ducks but Mary Grace decided it would be more fun to feed herself!

I have been taking a certification class for NeuroDevelopmental Treatment which has been taking a toll on me… it is once a month for 5 days Thursday-Monday and I still work the full week before and after the class. That makes 11 days straight and the first weekend happen to be Kevin’s 30th birthday, Abbie’s first dance recital, and Father’s day weekend. My parents were here to help Kevin celebrate but it kick my hiney! But I got to celebrate everything with the family. Abbie performed beautifully for a three year old but of course my dad waved at her in the middle of the dance and she waved right back, it was hysterical!

We spent the Fourth of July with my Mom in Ohio… Abbie and Mary Grace LOVE the pool! Poor Abbie had the stomach flu and my mom was the best and she took care of Abbie so that I could sleep and Kevin could play golf! We did get to the parade though and both girls seemed to enjoy it!

Kevin’s mom came to watch the girls during my July NDT class and they loved spending time with Nana Crabtree. The next weekend we went down to Ohio again for some R&R and we spent every day at the pool and it reminded me of the lazy summer days that I had as a kid and it makes me miss having a community pool (Mi doesn’t seem to have many community pools… I think it is strange).

Katie Ott one of my dearest friends came to visit last weekend and we had a wonderful weekend of catching up and plenty of girl time. Both of my girls LOVED her (I knew they would… how could they not) and Abbie looked at me after we dropped her off at the airport and said “Mommy I lost my Katie… I want her back”! So cute!

Enjoy the pictures of the Crabtree summer!
