Gordon is growing

Our sweet baby boy continues to grow and be loved by his big sisters! The girls paticularly Abbie loves to hold and kiss Gordon. Mary Grace asks why he is not talking or walking like her... she does not really want to hold him!

Christmas 2010

Christmas was a blast this year... the girls woke up and ran into our room which was the first time they had ever done that! I made them wait at the top of the stairs so that I could get ready to take videos and pictures of their faces when the entered the living room and saw the tree and their gifts! Abbie and MaryGrace B-lined to the Princess Jeep that was set up under the tree; that is the only gift Abbie had asked for from Santa! All in all it was a beautiful Chirstmas and I feel so blest that I got to spend it with my Nana and Papa. Gordon was a perfect little one month old!

Best we could get of all the kids!

One month old!

Getting ready for Santa's arrival the best way in Ohio with BUCKEYES!!

Travels!!

The month of May was crazy busy with traveling to Virginia for our sweet nieces first communion... we had a blast getting to visit with cousins and family while in Harrisonburg. Gordie got to meet his Godmother Aubry on our way home which reminded me of how much I miss getting to see her regularly! We also got to see Kevin's dear family friends Doug and Linda Lawson at their family farm... we got to explore which consisted of Kevin driving a golf cart into the field with cows and freaking me... the city girl out! The kids loved it though!
We also went to Michigan for a wedding of an old coworker of mine. We stayed with the Socia's which is always a blast. Abbie and Eilee had a blast ruling the roost and telling the little girls what they could and could not do. Cari and I had a night off while the boys watched the kids and it was so much fun!

Summer...

Summer was kicked off by a fantastic Memorial Day weekend which was full of pool fun which all of the kids loved!!! Mary Grace and Abbie are little fish which is totally fun to see. Mary Grace loves to jump in the baby pool with just a little assist by holding her hand and she loves to ride the Turtle in the middle of the pool like a horse. Abbie prefers the big pool with a swim ring or double noddles. She jumped off the diving board the first day and has not done it since! Gordie... he just relaxes in his baby inner tube and enjoys the ride; that's how he rolls!

We also made it to the zoo for Kevin's birthday and father's day and the kids loved the animals... well Gordie slept for 3.5 of the 5 hours that we were there but the girls loved they. When you ask Abbie what her favorite part was she states the dip'n dots but Mary Grace really like the monkeys. There is a baby there named Mary Rose... which is fun since we have an Abigail Rose and a Mary Grace.

A bundle of blue!

We the Crabtree family who only knows girls are very happy and proud to announce that we have a new bundle of blue at our house!!!! His name is Gordon Joseph Crabtree! Ok so he is not so new now but life has happened and I am finally getting to announce him to our blogging world. Gordon fondly called "Gordie" entered our world on November 24, 2010 weighing in at 7#11oz and he was 20 inches long.
In the operating room Kevin and I waited excitedly to hear what gender this baby was... Kevin said that we were having another girl and I thought we were having and boy (I never shared this with Kevin). When the doctor announced its a..... BOY. Kevin immediately pumped his fist and said yes it was so cute to see how excited to have a baby boy to share all of his knowledge with. I cannot wait to see them playing baseball, and Mr. Fix-it together and attending Boy Scout meetings. I have entered a world of blue and I think I am going to LOVE IT!
The girls were so excited to meet their new brother they proudly wore their Big Sister shirts and climbed up into mommy's recovery bed and she had the whole gang... it was perfect! We had wonderful nurse who allowed the Big Sisters to assist with Gordie's first bath... they were so proud of themselves and it brought tears to their overly emotional mother's eyes! I cannot believe how blessed I am to have such wonderful children and a loving husband.
