Summer Fun!!
We had a fabulous first summer with Abbie thanks to our friends and family!! We hope you enjoyed the fun in the sun! Here is a snap shot of our summer fun!
Smiles and Loves
Abbie has started to smile and belly laugh a lot lately!!! She usually gets really excited in the evening right before she goes to bed and when she wakes up in the morning. When I go into her room in the morning to get her from her crib she looks up and gives me a huge smile, even if she had been crying. It warms my heart to know that she can now recognize me!
Aubry spent the day with us yesterday and it was funny to watch Abbie keep her eyes on me the whole time, making sure I was not going to leave her!! But she loved getting to spend some time with Aubry. She also got to meet my oldest friend Kim yesterday... it is so nice for her to get to spend time with people that mean so much to me!!! We love you all!!! Here are a few recent pictures of Abbie!

She found her thumb!
Abbie has now found her thumb... I was dreading this moment but after talking to other moms I think it is a good thing. She is now able to pacify herself when she wakes up from nap or in the middle of the night(which she rarely does thank goodness). She is also doing really well on her tummy she likes to play with her toys while on her tummy... YEAH!!! This week she found her toes... she takes them up to her mouth and giggles... it is so fun to watch her learn and grow!

Hilton Head, SC
We had a fantastic time in Hilton Head with my family last week. It was so nice that the Snider clan got to meet and play with Abbie. She is at such a fun age now she was talking (cooing) up a storm every morning. She was able to experience a lot of new things last week as well... she swam in the pool and went under water, I would not say that she loved it but that she was surprised but there were no tears!!! She also went to the beach and stood at the waters edge without she was quite unsure about that. Abbie stayed inside most of the time because Hilton Head was experiencing record breaking heat and humidity index, it was so humid that when we would take our cameras outside the lenses would fog up, therefore there are not a lot of pictures that came out very clear! All in all we had a great trip!!! Thanks Nana and Papa we loved spending time with the family in such a relaxing and fun environment!
